Quality Hardwood Flooring
Walla Walla Carpet One Floor & Home is your local leader when it comes to hardwood flooring. Hardwood has a natural construction, so it offers unique visuals and textures that cannot be replicated. As a result, a new hardwood floor can add significant value to your home.
What Are the Different Hardwood Types?
As part of our hardwood selection, we have solid and engineered hardwood options. What's the difference between solid and engineered? Solid hardwood is considered a more traditional option, as solid hardwood planks are made from single strips of wood and nothing else. Solid planks do not have any special construction, but they are finished for extra wear resistance.
Engineered hardwood, on the other hand, does have a special construction. Engineered planks are made from different layers of real wood that are cross-directionally pressed together with a top layer of premium wood. With this layered construction, engineered planks are more dimensionally stable than solid planks, so they are less likely to expand, contract, or crack.
What else do you need to consider when choosing the perfect hardwood floor? Color, plank length, plank width, and shade variation are only a few factors you'll need to keep in mind. Fortunately, we can help you make the right choice!
Where Can Hardwood Be Installed?
Given its natural construction, hardwood is not as durable as its laminate and luxury vinyl counterparts. So, we don't recommend installing hardwood in areas with heavy foot traffic or with moisture. But, most hardwood options, especially engineered options, can be installed in areas such as bedrooms and family rooms.

Also, we have Castle Combe hardwood from USFloors. We love Castle Combe hardwood because of its reclaimed wood looks.
